About the Wooden Shutters team of experienced installers

We are Paul and Lewis. We are both trained carpenters by trade but have been involved in the shutter business for a number of years. Now we visit customers in London, Hertfordshire, Surrey and throughout the home counties, measuring windows for wood shutters.

Lewis – Team member and customer services

I’m Lewis and I worked for a small shutter company for a number of years, before embarking on a career with a Brighton Shutter company. I spend most of my days in London visiting people looking for good advice on wooden shutters. From Muswell Hill, to Ealing to Steatham – I cover it all.

My background installing shutters has been a wonderful asset. Many companies out there employ sales people who don’t understand how to measure for shutters. I experienced myself how measuring mistakes made by a salesman can leave you unable to fit a set of shutters. The customer has waited weeks for their shutters and is very disappointed when they don’t fit!

With our experience we severely reduce the likelihood of this happen and the best part of my job is seeing a customer’s delight when their shutters are fitted.

I met Lewis working for another shutters company the big B&Q brand people.  I installed shutters first then moved over to the consulting side of the business. I love measuring shutters in London and travel all over the city. The product we have is beautiful and stands out from what other shutter companies sell. Our shutters are superbly made and I like that I am not a pushy salesman who doesn’t understand the differences between a good and bad quality product.
