This image gallery of wooden shutters shows a range of projects we have worked on. Below is a list explaining each of the images and the application within the home interior.
- Arched or semi circular interior wooden shutters are a great one for odd shaped windows as shown in this first image. Wooden shutters present the ideal solution for many of these kind of windows as getting curtains to fit is nigh on impossible.
- Shutters in a bathroom. We love the ambience these interior shutters made in the bathroom, with subtle green decor the bright white tiered wooden shutters make for the icing on the cake with a real designer feel.
- For bay windows shutters can be ideal solution. You can see in this installation the customer had a great view of green space outside their house, however we often install our shutter products on interiors which look out on a main road so they provide great privacy for the clients. They also sit snugly and take up minimal room round the widow frame, so you’re free to enjoy the lines that a bay window offers to the room design.
- This child’s bedroom benefited from wood shutters as the room was quite small and they can be a real space saver. Having flapping curtains or slightly less stable blinds above the bed would make for an accident, so shutters once again present the ideal solution. Most children are easily able to adjust the slats, and there is a secure cosy feeling you get from having these in a kids bedroom.
- Sleek black kitchen shutters once again show just how stylish a kitchen can be with these plantation shutters. Here the client chose a gloss finish in order to carry off the crisp finish of the stone kitchen worktops. Try these guys for fine stone worktops in London and if you want really glossy black shutters give this a look here.
- In this image we installed our wood shutters into a box bay window. Similar of course to the regular bay but with straight lines and even crisper angles. These shutters were huge at around 2m high and we think you will agree they look stunning and lend an air of chic to this bedroom. Shutters really can compliment most interiors
- In this picture we show the classic cafe style shutter, used often to give privacy for people living on a street with passers by being able to look into their property. The cafe shutter in wood is what history is made of, and not only looks super stylish but also is perfectly functional. There are no other window coverings which can make your room totally private from street level, but also give you the opportunity to allow light into the room. Beautiful and brains!
- Having wooden shutters on doors in the UK is quite a new phenomenon, and why not as t makes complete sense. A conservatory is ideal for window shutters as blinds can look a bit cheap if you have splashed out a considerable sum for a lovely glazed room.
- The next image show shutters being used as a room enclosure and painted in a warm cream colour. Our shutters can be any colour you like, we can take orders from clients to match colours and set off their perfect interior style. Contact us for more information We think these look great with the cream colour against the wooden floor. It doesn’t look like too much wood as they are coloured. - This picture shows a style called tier on tier. This is where you can open each section independently of the others with hinges and separate panels. Ideal for breaking up a large window or simply as a design choice and pretty popular with our customers in London.
- This installation was a tricky one! The triangular shutters are flush up to the ceiling so we had to get the measuring precise on this job. They let in a magical glow of light when they are closed, and compliment the room perfectly. Can you imagine curtains filling this window? Not likely!
- Classic these white shutters, here they are installed in a lounge and you can see from this detail just how stylish they look. Wooden shutters are not new in the UK but our customers are really excited when we install them for the first time.
